The RFU have approached Leicester Tigers for head coach Steve Borthwick and are in negotiations over compensation following the dismissal of Eddie Jones.

Sky Sports News understands there is a disparity in RFU and the Tigers’ valuation, though Leicester have made it clear they would not stand in Borthwick’s way were England to come calling.
