It was a record-breaking night for Bevan French as he broke the Super League record for most tries in a game by one player with seven for Wigan against Hull FC.

French broke a 17-year-old record for most tries in a Super League game as Wigan thrashed Hull FC 60-0 on Friday.

Bradford winger Lesley Vainikolo scored six tries in the Bulls’ 49-6 win over Hull back in September 2005.
