Chateau de Lantic: don´t bring the dog! http://www.movingtoandalusia.com/2009/06/chatea... Once again, allowing a dog and being petfriendly are two very different things. I do get it, pretty castle, don´t want to see it wrecked, but hey, you can just say No to dogs, right? Once you say Pets are allowed, you can´t get all hot and bothered when people actually do bring a pet.
Chateau de Lantic is near Bordeaux and it´s pretty nice to look at. I´ve seen nicer chateaux, but it´s a decent size and they´ve gone all out on the rooms. But oh boy, the owner is one very grumpy French lady!
Internet, of course, didn´t work in our room, even though they all swore it did, (it worked yesterday) and then we had to sit in the dining room, where at first we couldn´t get any internet either, and she was just very, very unhelpful and pissed off.
