We ve sat thru more hours of horror than some folks have been alive for. Though its safe to say that while we extremely enjoy them, we have also sat thru many that simply fall short. While many modern films provide scares, thrills and chills its in fact some of the old school greats that stick in our minds as classics. Many of these come form a time when scare tactics and sound were all the film makers had to work with. No FX, no computer enhancements just raw filming and presentation. These selections come from our hand picked list of old school classics that either scared us as children or were just plain out quirky! While it would take forever to list every great classic we thought we d leave it to a few recommendations and a few you may have never seen before. Some you might even call lost gems. Enjoy!

Some of our greatest films ever made dealt with the subject of twisted minds, serial murders and villains that re-defined horror by bringing it closer to reality. Those we love to hate. And although the acts were horrendous, inventive or just built on plain madness we kept watching. EOC presents a few of our favorites that pretty much runs the gamut of this subject matter and the dark mind. We chose to leave out real serial killer films such as Gacy and Dahmer because basically we don t find non-fiction based films all that entertaining. If you haven t seen all these titles you may be missing on quite a few gems! Remember it s only a movie!
