American Idol Kris Allen http://american-idol-kris-allen.blogspot.com/... American Idol Kris Allen won last night. I think this is a breakthrough for Christian artists and Christian people alike.
Did you know that, to begin with, he was a former Christian worship leader? I believe the church was New Life Church in Maumelle, Arkansas. He was also the worship leader at Chi Alpha campus ministry of the University of Central Arkansas. So, it is needless to say that not only he has a strong Christian background, but that he has a strong musical background ”¯“ you have to have a strong musical background to be on the worship team and even moreso to be a leader of such.
Wow, was it ever stunning to see the newly crowned American Idol Kris Allen defeat the heavy favorite ”¯“ not just from last night but basically throughout the entire season ”¯“ Adam Lambert. I actually thought (and wanted) Lambert to win. Don’t you think he outsung Allen? Obviously, however, that was not the result. Not even Simon Cowell could predict such an outcome.
Quite stunned was I when I heard the result with Kris Allen’s name being called as the winner. And I thought I was stunned when I heard his name called first during the top 3 episode when the Danny Gloken, the singer who I thought would’ve been the runner-up”¦.to Adam Lambert, got eliminated (oh, well, I don’t think he REALLY needed that Ford Fusion).
I think that Kris Allen’s winning the coin toss and choosing second had a lot to do with it. I don’t think he would have pulled it off if he sung first. However, I believe that a lot has to do with more supernatural reasons that I explain in this blog article.
Either way, I believe that all 13 final contestants, let alone Danny Gloken, Adam Lambert, and American Idol Kris Allen, are the most talented finalists even on American Idol. I’m not sure if any one of them got as much buzz as Susan Boyle last month, but they sure are a talented bunch. Quite possibly at least six of them could be having top 40 hits on the charts by next year.
